I am a Principal Lecturer in Tourism, Events and Hospitality at the University of Greenwich*. You can view my University profile here. I am also the Executive Director of the London Office of the International Tourism Studies Association.
My research interests include tourism policy and governance, events management, cultural tourism and the economics of tourism. My PhD analysed the political economy of the regeneration of English Seaside Towns under New Labour. Before joining Greenwich, I worked in the cultural relations think-tank of the British Council and I have also been the senior officer for a social regeneration partnership in the Thames Gateway growth area.
