2007 (a bit late)

In the spirit of the season, I offer up a list of my favourite bits and pieces of 2007.  I haven’t followed a particular template, and my memory of things I found later in the year is much better than of those I enjoyed last Spring.  On top of that, some of these things aren’t even from 2007.  Anyway, this is a list of things I have enjoyed over the last twelve months.

Album – Kala by M.I.A or My Father Knew Charles Ives by John Adams

Fiction – Shalimar the Clownby Salman Rushdie

Non-fiction – Utopian Dreams by Tobias Jones

Film – The Fountain, directed by Darren Aronofsky

Exhibition – Blind Light(Anthony Gormley) at the Hayward Gallery
